Passes
Information professionals need to get accredited in the press room at each show in order to gain access to the exhibition area and to the activities.
The following rules for accreditation in Fira de Barcelona are applicable to national and international journalists, photographers and camera operators belonging to daily and non-daily communications media as well as electronic media
The following can obtain a Fira de Barcelona press accreditation:
- Holders of a valid press pass from graphic and written press organisations, association, colleges and unions registered in Spain, as well as international organisations belonging to the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ). The document must be at least 4 years old.
- Journalists and photographers who:
- Can prove their identity with a written confirmation from the editor in chief (original letterhead with address and phone number) or with a recently signed article or piece of work.
- Present an article bearing their name.
- Persons who can prove their work in Press Departments of institutions or companies.
- Persons who need press information to fulfil their objectives in benefit to the public and can demonstrate it with a written letter of confirmation from the institution involved.
- Representatives from information faculties or school newspapers will obtain a one-day invitation on presentation of a copy of the paper or an authorisation from a teacher bearing the address and telephone number.
Press accreditations can only be collected once the trade show has begun. Press accreditations expire once the event is over.
Fira de Barcelona reserves the right to enforce accreditation rules.
